Activities & Fun

While learning, children need stimulation and fun. Of course, 90% of the activities and fun occur in the classroom and in our play yard outside. In addition, The Little Schoolhouse offers many interactive outings that children look forward to and are stimulated by. Remember, many activities are included, such as cooking, swimming, Spanish, sports and music. Here below is a sample of TLS's field trips, productions and events that children and parents look forward to. For field trips, nominal fees apply for entry and transport.

TLS Summer Camp

Each year, The Little Schoolhouse offers a wonderful and educational Summer Camp. This year we have two great sessions: Session One from June 18 – 27, 2018, and Session Two from June 27 – July 6, 2018. They run Monday to Friday, 8am – 1pm. Our summer camp is tremendous hands-on fun that includes: Art & Crafts, Water Play, Sports, Cooking, Music, Dramatic Play, and Story Telling. Ask us about discounts. Educulture Junkanoo

Learning about the Bahamas' unique culture is a natural choice for a fun, educational excursion. In this four-hour outing, children learn about our country's foremost cultural expression and have fun making their own costume headpiece.

School Theatre Productions

In December and June, our children are the stars in their own theatrical production. It's one of the highlights of the school year for the children—and their parents.

Atlantis Paradise Island

Every year we have at least one excursion to Atlantis Paradise Island. Children learn about marine life and see first hand the wonders of underwater world.
